The Challenges of Face Recognition

Face recognition is expected to become an important biometric. It will be one of the biometrics in the new passport and it is expected to be used in watch list and security applications. The presentation will explain the current methods used for face recognition. It will discuss some important applications of face recognition and it will discuss the challenges and problems that the research in this area is faced with.
