Secure and Private Biometrics

Nowadays, biometric identification and authentication technologies become more wide spread and gain importance as essential components for secure access control (e.g. medical data access, border control, etc.) and personalisation of devices (e.g. preference settings). Since biometrics cannot be lost or forgotten, unlike e.g. passwords or pin-codes, biometric have the potential to offer a higher security and more convenience for the user.
