Some pointers to security education.

SAFE-NL provides a moderated public mailing list for the exchange of ideas over security.

There are several funding opportunities for research programs performed by industry and/or academia.

The EC 7th Framework Program, in particular the Unit Trust and Security (F5) of the Information Society and Media Directorate-General.

The Institute of Informatics and Telematics of the Italian National research Council (IIT-CNR) maintains a mailing list serving as a forum for discussion and as a means of quick dissemination of announcements of conferences, events, jobs, new results, etc.. in the area of security. The list is sponsored by IFIP WG 1.7. on "Foundations of Security Analysis and Design".
